The Guildford Museum (UK) will be showing several displays from 13 May to 8 July and from 15 July to 9 September. They will be about the several themes and variations of the famous ‘Alice’ stories.
In a series of small changing displays, the museum will explore:
- how Alice and her Wonderland have been illustrated across the years and around the world;
- how the book has been adapted on stage and on screen;
- how artists have been inspired by Carroll’s creations;
- how Alice has been approprated for every purpose you can inmagine, from advertising to pop music.
